Free Credit Reports Now Available To All U.S. Consumers!

In 2004, the Federal Trade Commission and the three major credit reporting bureaus (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion) began phasing in a new program to offer free annual credit reports to U.S. consumers. As of September 1, 2005, all U.S. consumers are entitled to one free credit report per year from each of the major credit reporting bureaus.
